How do I unarchive a person?

There are multiple ways to unarchive a person profile.

You can find the person you need to unarchive by typing their name into the top search bar in the upper right of the screen.

Go to "Contacts" in the left-hand navigation menu. Click on "Filter," type in the name, and set the Archived filter to "Yes" to show archived profiles.

Once you find the person, click on their name to open the profile. Click on the blue "Actions" button in the upper right area, and select "Unarchive." Or you can choose Archived" below the person's name.

A pop-up will appear asking you to enter the reason this person is being unarchived. Complete the required fields. Click "Save" to complete the action.

The profile will now be active again, and the unarchive reason will be added as a note to their profile.

Navigate to the People Query Builder in the left-hand menu: Reporting > Query Builder > People.

Build a query that returns the people you want to unarchive. Make sure to remove the filter “Is Archived = No” so that archived individuals are included. You can add other filters as needed.

Run the query to see the results by clicking on "Run Query." Use the checkboxes to select the appropriate individuals. Click on "Mass Change" from the "Bulk Actions" menu above the results area.

In the pop-up that appears, under Perform an action on profile, choose "Unarchive profile" (found under the Status section). Enter the required reason for unarchiving.

Optionally, you can choose to unarchive their family members as well.

Click "Save."

You will be taken back to the "Perform Mass Change" pop-up.

Click on the "Update Profiles" button.

A confirmation box will appear asking if you’re sure you want to proceed.

Enter the number of profiles to confirm and click "Continue." The selected profiles will be unarchived, and the reason provided will be added as a note on each profile.
