How do I remove a family member or relationship?

Shows how to delete or remove a family member (husband, wife, son, daughter or other relationship) from an existing family.

You will need the Limited Write People permission to perform this action.

To Remove a family member

To delete a family member, select the "edit section" icon within a family member's profile.

- OR -

Select the tab labeled "Relationships," then select the "edit section" icon.

Then click on the red x next to the family member

To remove a relationship

Select the tab labeled "Relationships," then click the cog drop-down on the person and select "Remove."

Helpful Tips

  • This only removes the person from the family and relationship tab. It will not delete their profile from the system.

  • You cannot remove the family manager from a family. You would first need to make someone else the family manager and then remove them.
