How do I change a person's profile image?

Describes how to upload or change the profile image (and family image) on a person's profile.

You will need the Limited Write People permission to change the profile image on another person's profile. Users without elevated permissions can still update the image on their own profile.

A profile image personalizes a person's record and helps a team recognize them across One Church Software, the public portal, and the mobile app. Upload a separate image for the Person and for their Family from the same place.

Change a profile image

1. Locate the profile to update:

  • Use the search bar in the top-right of the page to search by name, email, phone, or street address, or

  • From the left-hand navigation menu, click Contacts > People, then use the search bar or click Filter to narrow the list.

2. Click the person's name to open their profile.

3. On the profile image at the top-left of the profile, hover the cursor over the image (or the placeholder showing the person's initials) and click the edit (pencil) icon. The Edit Profile Images dialog opens.
