You will need the Connections Settings permission to perform this action.
From the left-hand navigation menu, click Connections, then click the Settings tab to open the list of connection types.
Delete a connection type
Select the checkbox at the start of the row for each connection type you want to delete.
Click the Bulk Actions button that appears above the table.
Choose Delete from the menu and confirm the prompt.
Tip: Instead of deleting a connection type that already has connections on people's profiles, consider deactivating it. Click the 3-dots menu on the row, choose Edit, toggle the Active? field to the no position, and click Save. Deactivating preserves your historical data — the type stays linked to existing connections but is no longer available when adding new ones.
