You will need the Full Write Events permission or be an organizer of the event to perform this action.
A header image is one of the easiest ways to make an event stand out. The image appears at the top of the event detail page, on public listings, and on shareable links — so adding one not only looks better, it also helps the event convey information at a glance.
1. From the left-hand navigation, select Events > Calendar (or Listing for the table view) and open the event that needs an image or an updated image.
2. On the right side of the event detail page, hover over the event's image area. A pencil icon will appear over the image.
3. Click the pencil icon to open the image picker.
4. Choose how you want to source the image:
• URL — paste a direct link to an image hosted online.
• Unsplash — search Unsplash's free stock library.
• Library — pick from images already uploaded to the One Church Software account.
• Upload — upload an image file from a computer.
5. Once the image is selected and uploaded, it will replace the existing image in the right-hand column of the event page.
Tip: The recommended image size is roughly 1600 × 500 pixels. Smaller or larger images will be resized automatically while keeping the original aspect ratio.
Tip: For recurring events, the uploaded image applies to the series. To change the image on only one occurrence, use the Actions menu on that specific event date and choose to apply changes to only that instance.
