You will need the Write Background Checks permission to perform this action.
Go to Settings & Tools (Cog icon in the tool-bar) > Integrations. Then find Protect My Ministry in the Others section and click Disable.
Tips
Disabling the integration will not delete any previously run background checks or the associated safeguards on each person's profile.
You won't have access to the main background check listing. While the integration is disabled, Contacts > Screenings > Background Checks shows an overview of the Protect My Ministry partnership instead. Previously run background checks are still available on each person's Safeguards tab.
You can re-enable the integration at any time from the same page.
