You will need the Reporting permission to view and run the Query Builder.
Working with saved queries
When you build a report in the Query Builder in the left-hand navigation menu, you can save it to run again later, share it with other users, and update or remove it whenever you need to. This article covers saving, editing, and deleting your saved queries.
Saving a query
Go to Reporting > Query Builder and build your query on the Designer tab. The Data Source defaults to People.
Select Save as... at the top of the Designer tab.
In the Save Query modal, enter a Name for the query. This field is required.
Add an optional Description so you and anyone you share the query with know what it does.
Choose who can use the query from the Access dropdown:
Private - only you and super users can view, run, and edit this query.
Specific people - only the people you choose can view, run, and optionally edit the query. They cannot delete it and won't see data or filters their system access doesn't allow. A Share with... box appears so you can search for each person and set their access level.
Anyone can view - anyone with access to the Query Builder can view and run the query, but cannot overwrite it.
Anyone can edit - anyone with access to the Query Builder can view, run, and edit the query, but cannot delete it.
Select Save.
To open a query you have already saved, return to the Designer tab and choose it from the Saved Queries dropdown at the top.
Editing a saved query
You can rename a saved query, update its description, or change who can access it at any time.
Go to Reporting > Query Builder and select the Saved Queries tab.
Find the query in the list, select the pencil icon found in the Query Details section.
In the Edit Query window, update the Name, Description, or Access as needed. If the query is shared with specific people, you can add or remove people and change each person's access level here.
Select Save.
Deleting a saved query
Go to Reporting > Query Builder and select the Saved Queries tab.
Find the query in the list, select the more menu (•••), and choose Delete.
Confirm to remove the saved query.
Warning: Deleting a saved query permanently removes it, including for anyone it was shared with. This cannot be undone.
