How do I add groups to my website?

Describes how to embed a group listing on your church website.

You will need the Full Read Groups permission to perform this action.

Two options are available to display groups on your website: Hosted URL and Web Embed

Edit Embed Elements

To place a listing of groups on your church's website, click on "Groups" in the left-hand navigation menu and then select the "Embed" button located beside the Groups header.

A pop up will display, allowing you to choose from the following:

  • Which types? All group types or specific group types

  • Elements: Show filters? Show images? Show event descriptions?

  • Padding: Spacing around edges of the embed.

  • Colors: Background, Title, Text, Box, Button and Accent
    ​

Choose Hosted URL or Embed Code

Now that you have customized the elements of the embed, you can choose how you want this to be placed on your website: Hosted URL or Embed Code.

You would only use one of the options listed in the pop up. Use the Hosted URL if you want a button on your website. Use the Embed Code if you want to put the entire group search directly on your website.
