How do I add, edit, or delete block-out dates for Rooms?

Describes how to handle block out dates for Rooms and Resources

One Church Software provides a great way to keep track of room usage. Block out dates and times that a room would not be able to be used.

Where to find block-out dates

Block-out dates are managed per-room. To get to them:

  1. In the left-hand navigation, expand Events and click Facilities.

  2. On the Rooms tab, click on the room you want to manage.

  3. Click the Calendar tab on the room's detail page.

Adding a block-out date

  1. Click + Add Blockout.

  2. In the Add Blockout Date dialog, enter a Reason (required).

  3. Choose a Date range. Leave All Day checked, or uncheck it to specify start and end times.

  4. Optionally, set a Recurrence rule using the dropdown (default is Does not repeat).

  5. Click Save.

Editing a block-out date

  1. On the room's Calendar tab, click the block-out entry you want to edit.

  2. In the Edit Blockout Date dialog, modify any of the fields.

  3. Click Save.

Deleting a block-out date

  1. On the room's Calendar tab, click the block-out entry you want to remove.

  2. Click the red Delete button at the bottom-left of the dialog.

  3. In the Delete Blockout Date confirmation, click Continue.
