You will need the Contributions Settings permission to perform this action.
Yes. A giving portal can be temporarily turned off so it stops accepting new gifts without deleting it. When ready to bring giving back online, toggle the same setting on.
Disable a giving portal
From the left-hand navigation menu, go to Contributions > Settings and click the Giving Portals tab.
Open the portal that needs to be disabled by clicking the portal's name, or by clicking the 3-dots menu beside it and choosing Edit.
On the General tab of the edit window, toggle Enabled? off and click Save.
Once disabled, the portal stops accepting new gifts. To bring it back online, return to this same screen and toggle Enabled?
Tip: Disabling a portal is the right choice for a temporary pause — for example, during a banking change or while reorganizing designations. To remove a portal entirely, see How do I add and manage giving portals?
