You will need the Limited Email permission to create and insert email templates. You will need the Full Email permission or be the template owner to save and change email templates.
One Church Software allows creating, viewing, and sending visually appealing emails, as well as creating reusable templates.
Email templates
Locate the email template section by selecting "Messaging" in the top right. Then select "Email templates" from the list of options. Alternatively, go to the "gear" icon at the top section, click on "Emails," and then the "Email templates" tab.
This shows a listing of email templates and associated information, such as if it's private, its category, and who created it.

Adding email templates
To create a new email template, select the "Blank Template" button.
The email builder has drag-and-drop functionality. Select elements from the menu on the right and drag them into the email content area to designate the placement of the text, images, etc.

Make sure to save it when finished building the email template.
Using a pre-built email template
A library of pre-built email designs can be easily imported into the system. This collection is curated by Unlayer and is updated periodically with new templates.
Inserting a template into an email
Start by creating an email. Go to"Messaging" in the top right. Then select "Email" from the list of options. Or select the "Actions" button found in the People module or after running a report via the People Query Builder (i.e. Reporting > Run Query > Bulk Actions > Send email).
From the email client click on the "Template" dropdown. When the sidebar opens select a preexisting template within the dropdown menu. Insert the template into the email communication by selecting the "Insert Template" button.
Exporting to PDF and HTML or creating a link to a template
Templates can be exported to PDF and HTML via the Export actions menu. Exporting can be done at any time even if the template hasn't been saved yet.
In addition, set an email template to be accessible online. This is useful to have an online version of an email sent out. To make it accessible online, check the "Show online?" option.
Organizing templates by category
A category field helps to better organize templates. These can be thought of as folders. The email template listing also has a new filter for searching by category.
