How do I delete a batch?

Describes how to delete a batch or batches

You will need the Full Write Contributions permission to perform this action.

Note: An auto-generated batch cannot be deleted.

Click on Contributions > Batches from the left-hand navigation menu. Locate the batch(es) you want to delete.

Deleting a single batch

  1. Click on the 3 horizontal dots next to the batch name and then "Delete" from the dropdown.

  2. Click on the name of the batch, then the "Actions" button, and then "Delete" from the menu.

Deleting batches in bulk

Select the check boxes of the desired batches. Select the bulk actions menu that will appear at the top of the table. Select delete.

All deleting actions will require a confirmation of the following message:

​Are you sure? Data loss will occur

WARNING! You are about to delete the selected records. ALL data for the record will be deleted. This action cannot be undone!


In Version 6

Navigate to the batch you want to delete and select "Delete" from the "Actions" menu in the top right area.

You can also do this from the batch listing screen. Simply select "Delete" from the drop-down menu at the end of the row containing the batch you want to delete.

A confirmation message will appear letting you know that all transactions within the batch will also be deleted. Click on "Yes" to finish deleting the batch.

Note: An auto-generated batch cannot be deleted.
