How do I automatically upload sermons to iTunes or another podcast service?

Describes how to retrieve the audio podcast feed URL for use with a third-party podcast service such as iTunes.

This article is currently being updated for One Church Software V7. Some details may change before the update is finalized.

You will need the Sermons Settings permission to perform this action.

One Church Software provides a feed URL for use with third-party podcast services such as iTunes. Whenever an audio sermon is uploaded, the podcast feed is automatically updated and the new episode appears on the external service. Refer to the third-party service's documentation for details on how to connect the two systems.

View the podcast feed

To see the podcast feed:

1. From the left-hand navigation menu, click Sermons.

2. At the top-right of the sermon listing page, click the Podcast Feed button.

A modal will open showing the podcast feed. The URL is what would be input into the third-party podcast service. The format of the URL is:

https://<subdomain>.onechurchsoftware.com/api/podcasts/audio

Add an image to the podcast feed

An image is required when submitting a podcast to Apple. To set the image associated with the public sermons listing in One Church Software:

1. From the left-hand navigation menu, click Sermons.

2. At the top-right of the sermon listing page, click the Podcast Feed button.
