All financial settings can be found under "Contributions > Settings" from the left hand navigation. Setting up the system for online giving involves the following.
- Enabling a payment gateway
- Setting up available funds (optional)
- Activating text giving (optional)
- Enabling the giving portal
Enabling a Payment Gateway
You will need the Financial Settings permission to perform these actions.
Click on the tab named "Payment Gateway." The available payment gateway will appear. You will need to set up an account with one of them to continue. If you need help setting up a payment gateway account, please contact us.
Once you enable a payment gateway, the "Visit Giving Portal" button will appear in the top left area.
This gateway can process both credit/debit cards and ACH. You can sign up for an account here. They will be in contact to complete the process. You can view more information on processing rates here. Only available in the United States.
This gateway can process both credit/debit cards and ACH. For ACH, you will need to activate the eCheck.Net module. You must enable Customer Information Manager (CIM) and the Transaction Details API within the Authorize.Net gateway settings.
The CIM is used to store payment methods. The Transaction Details API is used to determine when a batch is settled and retrieve those details.
This gateway can process both credit/debit cards and ACH. You can sign up here. You will need to enable ACH on your account. You will need both the Source Key and Pin.
You can find the Source Key and Pin under Settings > Source Keys in your USA ePay merchant interface. Please make sure the "Transaction Amount" fraud module is NOT installed on the source key as that will prevent saving of credit cards.
This integration is a full giving platform and not a payment gateway. As such, if this is enabled, all payments will be done through their system only. Transactions will be automatically imported as they are processed. Please see this article for more information.
This gateway can process credit/debit cards only. You can sign up for an account here. Once you sign up, you will need the Live Secret Key to link your account to One Church Software. You can find you API Keys under your Stripe account settings in the "API Keys" tab.

Activating Text Giving
You will need the Full Account permission to perform these actions.
There are two ways to do this:
- Click on the "Text Giving" tab. Then click on the "Manage Subscription" button.
- Click on the "Account Settings" link in the upper left of the screen and then on the "SMS" tab.
Finally, click on "Activate Text Messaging" to complete setting up text giving.
Enabling the Giving Portal
Once you are ready to allow others to visit the giving portal and give online, you can enable it by going to "Contributions > Settings" in the left hand navigation menu and going to the "Funds" tab. From there, hover your mouse over the "Giving Portal Settings" area and click "edit section." In the pop up that appears, toggle the "Enabled" field from No to Yes. Finally, click on the "Save" button to finish.
A "Visit Giving Portal' button will appear at the top of the left hand navigation menu signaling the portal is now active.
- There are some options in the "Options" tab you can set (such as the introductory text on the giving portal and confirmation email templates). We recommend you visit this area and customize as needed.
