There are two places to access communication tools in One Church.
From the Messaging button
Click Messaging in the top header. The dropdown is grouped into two sections.
Send
Email: compose and send an email to people or groups.
Text message: compose and send a text message.
Push notification: send a push notification to mobile app users.
Other
Message history: review past messages that have been sent.
Scheduled notifications: view and manage messages that are scheduled to send later.
Email templates: create and edit reusable email templates.
Delivery & opt outs: review delivery results and recipients who have opted out.
From the Settings & Tools gear (top right)
Click the gear icon in the top right (Settings & Tools) to open the Settings page. In the Communication column you'll find log and configuration views for each channel.
Emails: view email logs, templates, and unsubscribe lists.
Text Messages: view text message logs and opt outs.
Push Notifications: view messages sent to users of the mobile app.
Tip: use the Messaging dropdown when you want to send something or look at recent messaging activity. Use the Settings & Tools gear when you want to manage the underlying channel configuration (logs, templates, unsubscribe lists, opt outs).
