How do I run the check-in system in kiosk mode?

Describes how the system can run in full-screen.

Windows and Mac OS

To run the system in full screen/kiosk mode, do any of the following:

  • Go to View > Toggle Kiosk Mode

  • Type Ctrl + Shift + Enter on your keyboard

The system will go completely full screen. To exist, type Ctrl + Shift + Enter again.

Android

To run the system in full screen/kiosk mode:

  1. Go to Settings and search "pin"

  2. Look for Pin App in the results.

  3. Once located, enable it.

  4. Then open the check-in app and go to the app drawer (where you see all currently running apps),

  5. tap on the app icon at the top, and choose "Pin this app."

iOS

To run the system in full screen/kiosk mode:

  1. Go to Settings > Accessibility, then turn on Guided Access.

  2. Tap Passcode Settings, then tap Set Guided Access Passcode.

  3. Enter a passcode, then re-enter it. From here, you can also turn on Face ID or Touch ID as a way to end a Guided Access session.

  4. Open the app that you want.

  5. On an iPhone X or later, triple-click the side button. On an iPhone 8 or earler, triple-click the Home button.

  6. If you want parts of your screen to stop responding to touch, use one finger to circle those areas. You can move or resize the circle, or tap the X to remove it.

  7. Tap Guided Access, then tap Start.
