How to use the SongSelect integration

Describes how to search for and add songs to your song library from SongSelect® by CCLI.

You will need the Full Write Service Plans permission to perform this action.

Start with our SongSelect Introduction, if needed. See How do I enable the SongSelect integration? to learn on how to connect the SongSelect account to One Church.

Once the SongSelect integration has been enabled, search for songs in SongSelect when adding new songs. Search results appear below the title field along with the CCLI number. Clicking on a song in the results will import song metadata such as the title, CCLI #, copyright, authors, and more.

When adding a song, two additional buttons will appear that allow for quick browsing the Top 100 songs on CCLI as well as the current, most popular songs.

Once a song is selected, metadata from SongSelect will automatically be added to the next screen such as the title, CCLI #, Authors, and the default key. Copyright information will also be imported upon saving (not shown on screen).

In addition, chord charts and song lyrics (if available) can be downloaded.

If selected, those resources will be downloaded into One Church and will remain accessible even if the integration is disabled. Any usage of those songs will continue to be auto-reported to CCLI if auto-reporting is enabled. If not enabled, it is the church or organization's responsibility to report usage to CCLI manually.

To download another key afterward, simply add a new key to the song in One Church and the same Downloads section will appear. Chord charts or lyrics (as available) for existing keys can be re-downloadable at any time.

Finally, to view reported song usage to CCLI, go to Service Planning > Songs from the left-hand menu and click on the View CCLI® Auto-Reporting History link on that page. This goes to CCLI's website. Authentication is required, so a log in is needed for SongSelect.
