How to use the Paragraph field.

Describes how to use the Paragraph field on forms.

The Paragraph field is intended for longer form responses and adds a multi-line text box to the form.

The following fields are available when configuring this field.

General tab:

Label - The field name

Description - Text entered here will appear between the field name and the text box.

Placeholder - Text that should appear in the field by default. It will disappear once a value is entered. Use this to include an example of a valid input, some helpful text, or a default answer.

Character Limit - The maximum number of characters a response can be.

Automation tab:

You can add an automation by clicking on Add Automation button, and move that person who submitted the form to a group and/or workflow.

Options tab:

Is Required? - Toggle if text must be entered for this field before being allowed to submit.

Admin Only? - If toggled, this field will ONLY appear when editing a previous form submission and is meant to be filled out by an administrator.

Is Conditional? - Makes the visibility of this field dependent on the answer to another field.

Is Hidden? - This will hide the field from the submitter's view. This is needed when a form has submissions with this field already, as those can not be deleted.
