How can pledges be received on a form?

Describes how to use the Pledge field on forms to let people submit a giving pledge from outside the system.

Collecting pledges shouldn't require jumps through administrative hoops. Adding a Pledge field to your public forms allows givers to submit commitments seamlessly from any device without needing to log in. It creates a smooth experience for your community while seamlessly logging the pledge under Contributions > Pledges from the left-hand navigation menu of One Church Software.

Tip: A Pledge field can only be added to a form that is linked to an existing giving campaign, since every pledge is tracked against a campaign. See How do I add a giving campaign? if you haven't set one up yet.

General tab:

Label - The field name.

Description - Text entered here will appear between the field name and the pledge details.

Campaign - The giving campaign this field's pledges will be added to. This determines the fund(s), date range, and other campaign-level settings, the same way it does when a pledge is added from Contributions > Pledges.

Options tab:

Is Required? - Toggle if a pledge must be entered before the form can be submitted.

Is Conditional? - Makes the visibility of this field dependent on the answer to another field.

Is Hidden? - This will hide the field from the submitter's view. This is needed when a form has submissions with this field already, as those can not be deleted.
