We've partnered with Protect My Ministry to help ministries implement and maintain a thorough background screening program for employees, staff and volunteers. This fully integrated service to order and manage background checks directly within the platform. Billing is handled entirely through your account with Protect My Ministry, and One Church won't have access to your billing information.
You will need the Write Background Checks and Integrations permissions to perform this action.
Important: Set up an account with Protect My Ministry using the link below before enabling this integration. A new account must be set up. An existing Protect My Ministry account cannot be used. Please speak with them to transfer any prepaid background checks to the new account if needed.
Set up a Protect My Ministry account by visiting this link: https://www.protectmyministry.com/onechurch-software-signup
Note: The prepayment discount options during sign up are optional.
Important: If interested in Child Safety Training, make sure to check that option in step two of the onboarding form.
Once everything is set up with Protect My Ministry, they will provide a username and password.
Note: There is an average turn around time of 72 hours for new Protect My Ministry accounts. An email message will be received with the username and password once they finish onboarding the Protect My Ministry account.
Enter these credentials into One Church to link the two systems. To do this, go to Contacts > Screenings from the left-hand menu and click on the blue "Enable Now" button.
From here, enter the username and password provided by Protect My Ministry and click on the "Authorize" button. If the credentials given are correct, the integration will be enabled, and background checks can be start to be run.
