How can I bulk-update assignments from an automated workflow?

How to bulk update statuses of assignments within an automation workflow.

Any person in the system can be assigned a workflow task. The assignee does not need access to the workflow to be given the task. In the case where they do not normally have access, they will be granted temporary access to the workflow to view the details of their assignment as well as provide the outcome. This will last until they finish their assignment.

Assignments are shown on the user's home page under the System Tasks area. Note: Ensure you have included the System Tasks widget in the global default dashboard so all users can see their assignments here.

Bulk-updating your assignment list

After opening your assignments from the System Tasks widget. Select the blank square in the top left of the "Assignment" list. After clicking any checkboxes, you will see the Bulk Actions button, which will allow you to Delete assignments or Update status of assignments selected.

When updating the status of assignments, you will have the options below. After making a selection, you will click Save to finish the update. You can read about each status in this article on how workflows function.
