How to use the PraiseCharts integration

Describes how the PraiseCharts integration is set up and functions.

PraiseCharts features a large, online sheet music catalog of popular praise and worship songs offering lyrics, chords, stage charts, vocal chart arrangements, orchestrations, plus multitracks and patches, all ready to download and play.

With PraiseCharts, leverage resources many others in this space do not offer including:

• Multiple versions of the same song from different artists.

• Arrangements follow popular records, including proper intros, endings, tags, etc.

• Full piano transcriptions, orchestrations, click/rhythm/multi-tracks, stage charts, three-part harmony in addition to leads sheets are available for select songs.

Songs are available for individual purchase and discounts are available with prepay. Free songs are available also available.

How to enable

The integration can be enabled by going to Service Planning from the left-hand menu and clicking on Song Integrations in the top of the page.

This will take you to the pop up where you can select enable.

Each user who would like access to a church's PraiseCharts song library will need to enable the integration. Any imported song files will then be available to others in the system. This allows a church to control which users can import and purchase songs from the PraiseCharts account.

How it works

Upon activation, users will be able to search for songs within PraiseCharts while adding new songs to the system. Search results will be displayed, accompanied by an audio preview that can be accessed for listening purposes. Selecting a song from the results will import associated metadata, including the title, CCLI number, copyright information, and authors, among other details.

With this integration, users will also have the ability to purchase and import any song files, in the appropriate keys, from their PraiseCharts library.

PraiseCharts files can be imported into a song (for quick reuse across many plans) or directly to service plans as well.
