Users will need the Contributions Settings permission to perform these actions
The Abbreviation, formally known as Designation Code, is a required field when editing or setting up a designation; it is an abbreviation that can be created that will help identify the designation quickly within the system.
Update the Designation code under Contributions > Settings > locate the designation desiring to change and select the 3-dots menu, and then Edit.
The "Edit Designation" pop-up will appear. Locate the Abbreviation section and then edit the text, and then select save.
